 MISSION STATEMENT

The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian church.  Its message is based on the Bible. Its ministry is motivated by the love of God.Its mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination.

VISION STATEMENT
Motivated by the love of God, as a leader in Christian faith-based human services, The Salvation Army is committed to serving the whole person, body, mind and spirit, with integrity and respect, using creative solutions to positively transform lives.

The Adult Rehabilitation Center is a program of The Salvation Army. We serve men and woman with social, emotional and spiritual needs. Many have been unable to build relationships that offer support in coping with everyday problems. Some have neglected to develop healthy work habits that enable them to be self-supporting. The Center provides housing, group and individual counseling, as well a work therapy component, in a clean and wholesome environment.

The primary purpose of the Center is the rehabilitation and spiritual regeneration of each resident. These men and women may be beaten down morally, physically, socially and, more importantly, spiritually. The Center affords them the opportunity of putting the pieces of their lives back together and developing moral and spiritual principles.

Donations of usable clothing, furniture and household items are the back-bone of support. These items are picked-up in our red shield trucks of left at our collections center and processed as part of the work therapy component. These items are sold in our Thrift Stores, providing the primary financial support for The Adult Rehabilitation Center program.
