Multi-platinum selling and Grammy-nominated rapper Ice Spice has announced that her highly anticipated debut album will be released on July 26 via 10K Projects/Capitol Records.
The title of Ice Spice’s full-length debut album – Y2K -is a nod to her birthday, January 1, 2000. The album is available to pre-order at https://icespice.lnk.to/Y2K
Ice Spice previously shared the single “Gimmie A Light” from the upcoming album.
Produced by Ice Spice’s longtime collaborator RIOTUSA, “Gimmie A Light” centers on a sample from dancehall legend Sean Paul‘s 2002 single “Gimme the Light.”
Ice Spice also shared an official self-directed music video for the single. It was co-produced by Ice Spice and her fellow New York City natives George and Frederick Buford, aka The Evil Twins.
